Garden-path Sentence効果（の程度）

　　　　(1) The defendant examined by the lawyer turned out to be unreliable.

    　　(2) The evidence examined by the lawyer turned out to be unreliable.

Reduced relative clause (縮約関係節)

    [Ambiguous]      The boy found in the room was good-looking.

    [SEM]               The book found in the room was good-looking.

    [Unambiguous]  The boy that was found in the room was asleep.

Object-Subject ambiguity (目的語―主語曖昧文)

    [Amb]       The doctor warned the patient would be contagious.

    [SEM]      The doctor warned the virus would be contagious.

    [Unamb]   The doctor warned that the patient would be contagious.

Double-object ambiguity ()

    [Amb]        The girl brought the boy the bicycle hit a bandage.

    [SEM]       The girl brought the boy the man hit a bandage.

    [Unamb]    THe girl brought the boy that the bicycle hit a bandage.
